Gibraltar should have its own MP

More on the subject of overseas territories having their own MP's with Labour backbencher Andrew Mackinlay not only being behind the idea but also saying that the most "glaring injustice and anomaly" is Gibraltar. Reported in The House Magazine Mr Mackinlay says that Gibralter, despite being in the geographical jurisdiction of NATO and the European Union, is frequently traduced by Spain and other parties. Other overseas territories such as Anguilla, the Falkland Islands and St Helena also need to be represented. The United States allows a non-voting delegate in Congress for Guam, the US Virgin Islands and US Samoa.
