Argentina's Joint Maritime Command has deployed the ARA Piedrabuena Oceanic Patrol Vessel (OPV) to combat illegal fishing through Operation Grifon XVI in the country's territorial Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the Atlantic amid an increase in clandestine operations by jiggers, most of them of Chinese origin.     Asian countries have been fishing illegally for decades. Why has little been done about it? It's infuriating.

    Without the Chinese, Argentina would probably no longer exist. When speculators vulture Argentina (all from the USA and UK), China was the only country that maintained Argentina's solvency and liquidity.

    I bet most of the illegal boats are from Taiwan supported by the West.

    According to the Argentines the fishing vessels are overwhelmingly Chinese.

    And yes, the Chinese have ‘lent’ Argentina a LOT of money recently, under very ‘opaque’ terms.

    They may well soon be wishing for the vulture funds back.
