“I'm not going to talk any more about Cuba and Venezuela, let's talk about Argentina.,” Bolsonaro said “I'm not going to talk any more about Cuba and Venezuela, let's talk about Argentina.,” Bolsonaro said

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has said in his social media broadcast that “only a miracle will save the Argentine economy,” as he referred to the administration of his colleague Alberto Fernández as “a regime that did not work anywhere in the world.”

Bolsonaro made those statements while addressing the likelihood of fraud in his country's elections next year through the use of electronic voting machines.

“Look what is happening in Argentina. I was there in 2019 and said that if the left came back to power, we were going to need a hosted operation in Rio Grande do Sul. Class A is already beginning to leave Argentina. Only a miracle will save the Argentine economy,” Bolsonaro pinted out.

“Direct interference by President Fernández in the means of production, he banned meat exports for 30 days saying that the price was going to drop so that people could buy it... Not only did the price go up...” said Bolsonaro as he explained that domestic supply was also cut down considerably thanks to the measure.

“I have shown where that other side wants to return and how the countries they have supported are doing. I'm not going to talk any more about Cuba and Venezuela, let's talk about Argentina. The regime they defend did not work anywhere in the world. We are all going to pay a high price if the choices are wrong. We need democratic and reliable ballots in Brazil,” he insisted.

Bolsonaro's demand for a reform to the electoral system, which would represents a return to printed vote has opened political battle fronts in Congress and before the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

The Brazilian president has explicitly warned that “without a printed vote there are no elections next year” and that he would not concede defeat if beaten through fraud.

In this scenatio Electoral Court Chief Justice Luis Roberto Barroso, also a member of the STF construed Bolsonaro's message: “The discourse is that if I lose it is because there was fraud is a pronouncement by someone who does not accept democracy.”

According to the latest polls, if the elections were today, former President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva would beat Bolsonaro in the first round.

“I have no way to prove that the elections were or were not fraud. But I do have clues. And a crime is revealed with several indications,” the President said in his broadcast message.

Bolsonaro also highlighted the fact that since April 2020, the STF had granted state and municipal governments the autonomy to carry out their own plans to prevent and fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Still, measures taken or not taken in the sanitarry efforts are underscored as Bolsonaro's responsibility and are under investigation by a Senatorial Comittee knwon as CPI, on which Bolsonaro has said he could not care less. But it is also true that since last year the Brazilian president spoke of a “little flu” and that, based on that diagnosis, he wanted to prevent states from imposing quarantines.

Based on the STF's ruling, Bolsonaro insisted on his innocence regarding any wrongdoing in the fight against covid-19 since he had been stripped of all powers by the STF.

STF Chief Justice Luis Fux is expected to deliver a speech Monday ruffling feather between the Judiciary and the Executive and also against the chiefs of the armed forces, who last week told House of Deputies Speaker Arthur Lira that the elections would be “canceled” in case of “maintaining the current voting system,” which has led analysts to speak of the existence of a “military party [with] political ambitions” in Brazil.

Are all Argentines racist or just you? As racism is proof of stupidity, that must be why business is going from bad to worse there.

SB4, 100M Africans??? who are you? Adolf hitler's nephew?. The whitest man on earth or what?.

Brasileiro, even though I dont like Bolsonaro's policies one bit. I have to agree with him in that prohibition of exportations of whatever product for whatever reasons, its suicidal for commerce and business.
Having said that, he is not the example of doing it right either. The economy of Brasil under Lula, growed at a phace you havent seen in your whole life. Pretrobras was one of the biggest oil companies in the continent if not the world. Even Odebrech too. The pre-salt, the modernization of the armed forces. The pacification of the favelas. The elimination of the foreign debt with the IMF (FMI). The middle class progressed.
The biggest debt from governments (right or left) in Brasil or Argentina are to apply more transparency laws and heavy criminalization of corruption. Odebrecht is not more corrupt than big companies like Siemmens, or General Electric or Alstom, that faced in many places corruption scandals. But im sure Brasil knew it and Lula and Bolsonaro knew it and did nothing.

Bolsonaro did not made Brasil stronger than its predecesor. Macri did not made Argentina stronger than its predecesor.
Argentina in only two years in the Macri period, took loans for more than 50 billons dollars. How many industries could've been saved with that money and how many could have had developed?.
But for them, the fault is for the left wing, that wants to be “communists”, while huge debts are created by them.

Perhaps what Brasileiro is emphasizing is the the perception that Brazil is an example of racial harmony is so strong that it precludes any serious discussion about race.

If you actually travel across Brazil you’ll encounter a wide spectrum of racial identities — and their quest for social and political unity — racial democracy asserted the unity of the Brazilian people gives them a right to feel pride in the fact that they had created a multiethnic society.

However, the truth is very evident that there is a distinct European, African, indigenous and even over a million of Japanese ancestry holding firmly to their ethnic backgrounds.

From the beautiful Europeans like Gisele Bundchen to the equally attractive menina negra Emanuela de Paula Brazil certainly represents a wide ethnic spectrum — but there is a very strong separation concerning social justice and racial equality.

I have travelled through many parts of Brazil and extensively worked as a consultant in North Eastern São Francisco Valley where the income inequality was impossible to ignore. (Most blacks are very poor!)

As an American — you may very interested that Brazil has a large group that are descendente of the American Confederacy that in May 1865 — 10,000 Southerners fled the USA for a small city in Brazil, where they could rebuild their lives and carry on their traditions and their descendants look upon the Confederate flag not as an emblem of racism and slavery but as a symbol of something their ancestors held dear to their hearts.

I LOVE North Americans — but frankly they do not understand my continent.

Even their ridiculous concept of Latinos (“Latinix” in their WOKE language) is evidenced in their geographical ignorance that there is a very strong definition between us — that far surpasses nationality and race.

To accuse one of us being the same as an Argentinian will result in disgust!

    ¡Saludos de Chile!
