    Argentina's 74-year-old Cabinet Chief Guillermo Francos was hospitalized this weekend at a Buenos Aires sanatorium but reported to be stable. He will not be discharged until further studies are conducted.

    The Government of Argentina admitted Tuesday that it had received a security alert from Israel about a possible Iranian attack. Cabinet Chief Guillermo Francos said Israel expected “a very strong attack from Iran against targets that are friends.” Argentina has already suffered two anti-Jewish attacks in the 1990s.

    Former Argentine Vice President Daniel Scioli will leave his post as Ambassador to Brazil to join President Javier Milei's team as Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports, it was announced Tuesday in Buenos Aires after a meeting which was also attended by Interior Minister Guillermo Francos, who served on Scioli's cabinet when the latter was Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires.

The most outstanding is Jorge Argüello who was appointed ambassador in Washington but at the same time coordinator of other appointments in the different multilateral and regional organizations in the US capital, such as IMF, World Bank, Inter American Development Bank and the OAS.
