    Eleven countries in the Americas issued a statement Friday saying they would not be recognizing Venezuela's Supreme Court (TSJ) ruling declaring Nicolás Maduro the winner of the July 28 elections without producing any of the voting minutes to back up such a claim.

    C24 visiting mission to British Virgin Islands next week

    The mission headed by Menissa Rambally will gather first-hand information on the situation in BVI, focusing on the political developments, including the constitutional review process.

    The United Nations Special Committee on Decolonization, also identified as C24, currently chaired by Menissa Rambally (Saint Lucia), will undertake a visiting mission to the British Virgin Islands from 26 to 27 August.
