Mount Pleasant Complex in the Falkland Islands has provided information on how the British Forces South Atlantic Islands, BFSAI, are kept alert and ready for the defense of the Islands with regular shipments from the UK.

Starting on Saturday, 14 October 2023, until 22nd October, the British Army Roulement Infantry Company currently stationed at Mount Pleasant Complex will be running a patrol competition mainly through the capital Stanley.
Last Saturday, military personnel from across BFSAI took part in a Gurkha Doko challenge in memory of those who liberated the Falkland Islands. The sixteen participants ran a combined total of 40km, the distance from Mount Pleasant Complex to the Gurkha Memorial near Stanley, carrying a weighted doko basket.
