  Bulgarian Navy hands over parts of 1976 Argentine plane crash found in Antarctica

  

  The Bulgarian Navy's Brothers Cyril and Methodius scientific vessel docked in Mar del Plata this week to hand over pieces of an Argentine Navy aircraft that crashed in Antarctica in 1976 with ten military personnel and a television crewman on board. The items, found on Jan. 15 on Livingston Island, will be taken to a Navy facility in Bahía Blanca to determine if they belong to the twin-engine plane.

  Cruisers furious as Norwegian line removes Antarctica from itineraries at last moment

  

  Furious passengers are anticipating all the necessary actions against Norwegian Cruise Lines which at the last minute removed Antarctica from its upcoming itineraries. Over the weekend, the Norwegian Star, which is currently in the Drake Passage, informed passengers that the trip would have to be altered for operational reasons.

  Youth Orchestra to perform at Urguay's Artigas Base in Antarctica

  HMS Protector removes waste from Brabant Island next to Antarctica Peninsula

  

  Royal Navy sailors have helped preserve the natural beauty of Antarctica by removing three tons of waste from an island. Ice patrol HMS Protector returned to Brabant Island – on the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula – for the first time since 2017 to continue work to remove abandoned equipment from an expedition in the 1980s.
